If not, someone knows a "N" compatible Router in- & outdoor ;P

THANKS A LOT

It works GREAT with dd-wrt (with heartbeat). I use it as a main ap in a rv park.

I will ad here that the power output is not nearly as much as the engenius 2610's that are back to back (one is bridged to the rt-16, the other one is plugged directly into the bridge to be the secondary ap). Most customers at that park connect to the 2610.

The bridge 2610 has stock firmware.
The ap 2610 has dd-wrt (with hearbeat).

Hi James

If i understand correct the rt-n16 is a dualband router right ?
If its correct, did you ever try to use the 5ghz band as a backhaul and the 2.4ghz for use of the clients ?
Might be a cheap way of having a "dualradio" router...

More info would be very welcome, i still have some broadcoms in the field so adding one more to the stack would not be a mayor problem ;)

I am also looking at atheros new XSPAN AR9002AP that seems to have the same function http://www.electronicstalk.com/news/ats/ats117.html

Greetings
Steven

Hello James,

bought yesterday a RT-N16, tried to flash with my FIRM but it wont work ?!

I can flash with dd-wrt mini, but when I upgrade to my firm the router stops working.

Do you saying that a EOC-1650 is better then this N-device ?!

Thanks for helping

Andy
