Done and rebooted!
All seems to be fine.

Good timing as I was just about to test different account types before going live.

Shall report back...

Thanks
Marc

awesome.....

that actually killed two birds with one stone right there and brought any older systems up to date with the other fixes we did for handling simultaneous logins with the same mac address.. You already had that it your 4.01, but who knows what all versions these other guys are running, and it really doesn't matter because this fix would work on all of our servers since way back when..

Just a little more info for the other guys..

Chuck

Now I am continuing to test this with various accounts attributes and I remember a post where somebody was stating that multi-use tickets did not work, and now I think they are correct, and I do not think it has anything to do with this issue we just fixed..

I think we need to also take a close look at the multi-use logic again, as I just made a two hour plan with multi-use set to on and it EXPIRED at two hours, and I still have plenty of time left on that account..

I will bring this up to Loren in the morning and we will figure this one out to, because I know it worked fine before, but something has broken it along the way..

more to come on that one too..

Chuck

Loren in a previous post you said to change simultaneous users inc-gateway/inc-function.php change line line 219. There is two other lines with simultaneous user in that file lines 121 and 352. Any idea what these lines are for? 352 looks like its for when creating quota plans but not sure on line 121.
A further to the post Loren made about where to change simultaneous users.
/var/www/admin/createuser.php line 195 for the default that comes up on the prepaid tickets.
/var/www/admin/addtimeduser.php line 211 for the default on "add user account"
Cheers

This seems to of fixed a previous problem I had with an account expiring as soon as the user logged in.
http://wifigator.com/gatorforum/viewtop ... ght=#17889

Also fixed users showing 'online yes' when they weren't.

Thanks team Gator!

One thing I noticed (maybe it existed before) is if I got straight to /admin/manage_users.php from being in the edit area of a hotspot/nasid, I get a totally different Manage User Accounts page. A simpler one with an 'Add Time' button and a trash can icon to delete the account. Also doesn't have the admin menu bar. And only lists the users for that Nasid.
The trash can icon on that page seems to be the only way to totally delete a user from the database.

Try this:
'Manage User Accounts' from top dropdown menu.
'Click Here' to edit for any user.
That'll take you to the edit page for it's Nasid.
Now just click back on your browser.
Different manage users page!

Useful though to totally trash a username and any previous online records.

WOW....that was a quick and easy fix...or at least Chuck and loren made it easy for us. I always just that the was a bogus field in the system but now it actaully works. Now if we could just have a feild to put the users name address and phone number in there. I currently have to keep an excel sheet with the mac addresses of my users that I have white listed so I know who they are. Great job everyone!

Looks kinda funny, but do not think its supposed to be that way ;)
The spend time online seems to be right tough, and in some accounts it looks like the time is set normal

Yes mine is the same, I think Loren just ran that time through all the accstoptime fields to clean it up on first run. The durations are correct so it wont affect anything just looks odd.

Whats got me confused is. I just had a user log into their single use account. If I click monitor users and then click his username, it shows a log of his accounting from 2 minuite. Why are there loads of records created with 00-00 00:00:00 when hes only be online for 2 mins?

Mine just shows a single login and the time is ticking over normally. Looks like yours is creating a new entry every few seconds.
